Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. Levels and subjects I teach: GCSE: Mathematics KS3: Mathematics 11 plus: Mathematics I graduated from Imperial College London in BSc in Chemistry with Management with First Class Honours. For A Level, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Accounting and also B in Physics For GCSE, I had 9 GCSEs including 7 A in Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, etc My academic excellence serves as a strong foundation in tutoring as I can explain concepts clearly ensuring students grasp the material effectively. My experience in tackling challenging problems equips me with strategies to help students approach difficult questions with confidence and precision.

Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily. Furthermore, I have also done mentoring before in school, where I was teaching maths to a GCSE student, and this also enabled my skills to improve and gave me more experience of teaching.

Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.

Hi! I’m Muneeba, a final-year Software Engineering student at the University of Westminster and I love helping students feel confident in their learning. Alongside my studies, I’ve built lots of experience supporting learners: I currently teach at a tuition centre covering GCSE Maths, Science and Computer Science, plus A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. I also teach all core subjects (Maths, English and Science) to primary students, and work as a Computer Science mentor at college, guiding students through revision and final projects. My background in tech means I’m great at breaking complex ideas down into clear, logical steps with plain relatable explanations. I adapt my style for every age: fun and engaging for younger learners, structured and focused for GCSE and A-Level. I’m patient, organised, and committed to helping you progress at your own pace. Since November 2024, I have also been a Computing & ICT Mentor at Leyton Sixth Form College, helping students with revision and practical projects. I took part in the Aim High Computing and Engineering Pathway, where I built skills in research, computational thinking, and presenting ideas clearly. I use everything I have learned to teach with patience, clarity, and real experience so every student can progress and succeed.
