Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old tabby cat called Misty, and I’m one of six siblings! I’d describe myself as calm, composed, and confident—and I’m excited to share my tips and tricks to help others rise to the top of their academics. I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I am a First-Class Computer Systems Engineering graduate. Mathematics and Computing have been central to both my academic journey and professional experience. With 11 years of teaching and tutoring experience across GCSE and A-Level, I have developed a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the common challenges students face. I enjoy helping students move from confusion to clarity by breaking complex topics into structured, logical steps. Beyond improving grades, my goal is to help students build confidence and develop deep, sustained understanding. I believe Mathematics and Computing should feel logical and empowering — not intimidating. I completed my BSc in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Westminster, graduating with First-Class Honours. My degree gave me a strong foundation in programming (Python, C++, C, VHDL and Assembly), embedded systems, microcontrollers, hardware design and robotics. During my studies, I led and contributed to several technical projects, including designing FIR filters using VHDL, programming PIC and MBED microcontrollers, and developing software systems in C++ and Python. I was also recognised with academic excellence awards for my performance. Prior to university, I completed my A-Level certification at Ahmadu Bello University, studying Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, and earlier obtained my secondary school leaving certificate at Livingstone College . Alongside my academic background, I have over 11 years of experience teaching and tutoring GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, as well as several years teaching Computing. I have worked in UK secondary schools as a Teaching Assistant supporting STEM subjects and SEN students, and as an online tutor delivering structured, results-driven lessons. My specialisation lies in Mathematics and Computer Science, particularly breaking complex, abstract ideas into logical, manageable steps that build deep and lasting understanding.

Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!
