Hey, my name is Shiza and I am a medical student. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and I enjoy helping students to reach their potential. I’m an enthusiastic individual, that is keen on teaching children, of all ages, up until A-level. I have many different hobbies, such as playing sports and cooking different recipes, which is something I carry out in my free time. I’m also multilingual, as I can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently. I also have experience of teaching, as I ran my own personal tuition for primary school children, now moving unto secondary school, for English, which is something that I am carrying out now. I’m looking forward to teaching Primary school children, for both Maths and English, as well as English Language and English Literature for GCSE students, and in teaching Finance to A-level students. I have successfully achieved a grade 8 for English Literature, as well as a grade 6 for English language. In addition, I studied Finance as one of my A-level subjects and achieved an A*. I just completed my university degree in Accounting and Finance this year. I enjoy teaching a lot, and it’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, from a young age. I currently also work in a primary school alongside my studies which I recently completed, by doing 1-1 with SEN children, assisting them with their learning. This supports my ability to tutor as it gives me an insight into the different concepts children are learning in school, allowing me to provide my students with the help they need, as I'm aware of how important a child's education is, in shaping their future and I hope and wish to be a part of that. I am a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and Finance, completed in 2024, and I achieved a First Class at the University of East London. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a robust understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and the analytical skills necessary for a successful career in the finance industry. It's something that I am deeply passionate about and wish to carry on further into the future. I'm currently completing a postgraduate course that relates to my field of study (Accounting and Finance), to help me pursue my future career as a Chartered Accountant.

Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.
