I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024. I studied an Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Prior to this I studied Business, PE and maths at A-level getting A* A* A respectively. I achieved a grade 8 in maths at GCSE.

I achieved A* in Economics and A's in Biology and Chemistry in my recent A-levels. Unlike typical tutors, I've been in the student's shoes, balancing A-levels, a social life, and university applications. As a gap year student aspiring to study medicine, I'm here to guide you through this challenging journey. In Year 12, I faced initial struggles, earning E, D, and C grades in Economics, Chemistry, and Biology. But within 8 months, I transformed my grades in economics achieving one of the highest marks in the country. As a student I've overcome the same roadblocks, revision hardships, and academic pressures as you. Top grades require more than just content knowledge; they demand effective hard work. Luck plays a role, but it's essentially a mathematical probability principle. With strategic effort, you can tilt the odds in your favour, no matter what challenges come your way. My tutoring sessions are personalised to each student's needs. To ensure the most effective guidance, I ask students to provide specific instructions for our sessions. This way, I can tailor my approach . My tutoring philosophy is based on a series of books / research paper i have read on educational neurosciences of how to learn most effectively which i personally implemented thus i know work for the average student . I have tutored for over 1000 hours so far - testimonials available on request . I accommodate the students as much as possible . Spaces are available but they are limited Achieved A* , A , A in alevels in 2023 in Economics , Biology , Chemistry respectively. As a student I know the struggles of taking some of the hardest alevels and balancing the workload that comes with them , I also took GCSEs in 2021 and received 12 GSCES at 9-7 grades .

Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, where I am currently preparing to sit my final MPharm exams following a recent gap period. In October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

Hi I'm Samarth, I'm an international Master student at LMU, Munich studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. I've always been told by my peers how I have a flair for explaining things in a crisp and clear manner and hence I thought of joining GoStudent as a Tutor. I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.
