I achieved a commendable pass rate of over 80% in English. 70% in music and 60% in mathematics. During my secondary and high school years, I informally tutored my classmates, which not only honed my teaching skills but also earned me recognition from my peers and teachers. My music teacher notably remarked on my ability to teach, stating that despite being a learner, I made an excellent teacher. I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. Hi! My name is Layla, and I tutor Sciences, Maths, and English as a Foreign Language. I work with students of all ages, from primary and KS3 through to GCSE and A-Level, and I support all major exam boards. I help students with exam preparation, strengthening core skills, and building confidence in English communication. My teaching style is friendly and adaptable—I break down difficult topics into clear, simple steps, use real-life examples, and tailor lessons to each student’s learning style. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions.
