Hi, I’m Chelle, an enthusiastic educator on a mission to transform the way students connect with the English language. I believe that every word holds the power to inspire, communicate, and create. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which has equipped me with a solid understanding of human behavior, cognitive processes, and emotional well-being. My academic background has been the foundation for my professional journey in both the fields of guidance counseling and education. As a Guidance Counselor, I had the privilege of supporting students' personal, academic, and social development. I facilitated individual and group counseling sessions, working closely with students to address their challenges and develop strategies for resilience and growth. My role also involved collaborating with parents and teachers to create tailored interventions that promoted the holistic development of each student. I am particularly passionate about fostering mental health awareness and empowering young individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Currently, I apply my skills as an Online ESL Teacher, helping non-native speakers improve their English proficiency. In this role, I develop engaging lesson plans tailored to students' learning needs and goals. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive environment that encourages confidence in speaking, writing, and comprehension. This experience has further enhanced my ability to communicate effectively across cultures, adapt to diverse learning styles, and motivate students to succeed. My dual experience as a counselor and educator has strengthened my commitment to empowering individuals, whether by addressing their emotional and psychological needs or by equipping them with the tools for effective communication. I am dedicated to fostering personal growth and creating positive, meaningful connections in every role I undertake.

I have a first-class bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Classics from The Open University, as well as Philosophy MA at Birkbeck University, in which I achieved a distinction. I studied a wide range of topics such as ethics, metaphysics, logic, ancient history, literature, and culture. I am currently studying for a research degree and I have always been intellectually driven and have experience in learning efficiently and effectively. My teaching style is enthusiastic, explorative, and attentive. I aim to inspire my students to discover the beauty and relevance of English Literature and Language and to help them develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. I tailor my lessons to suit the needs and interests of each student, and I provide them with detailed feedback and guidance. I teach English, as well as Philosophy and Ancient Languages (Greek and Latin), at various levels, from beginners to advanced and have a strong knowledge of GCSE and A level Syllabi. I have worked as an examiner for GCSE English Literature, so can use this experience to help student achieve peak exam performance. I believe that learning can be not only intellectually rewarding, but also enjoyable. I use a variety of resources and methods to make my lessons engaging and interactive, such as games, quizzes, videos, podcasts, key texts, and images. I also encourage my students to express their own opinions and perspectives, and to engage in lively discussions with me and with each other. I have been working as a tutor as part of the National Tutoring Scheme for the past year. In that time, I have been consistently praised for my creative, engaging and understanding approach to tuition. I have also completed a Teach First course in a Further Education environment, in which I shadowed experienced teachers, learnt about effective teaching practice, and presented my own lesson to senior educators to rave reviews. I now work at one of the highest performing sixth-forms in the country, advising students on their study skills. Currently I am a medical student, studying medicine abroad! I am an easy going, enthusiastic individual who enjoys problem solving and helping others to bring out the best in them. My hobbies include learning new languages, as of now I can speak 4 (Urdu/Hindi, Pashto, Dari/Persian and English), I enjoy playing chess, solving Rubix cube, playing cricket and going to the gym. I also have an interest in reading poetry and would like to start writing my own in the near future. I have completed all my GCSEs. I studied Applied science and Computer science in my sixth form. I received a 2:1 in my biomedical degree which i studied at Kingston University. Currently i am studying medicine abroad in Georgia as my second degree, and I aspire to be a cardiologist.

I'm Ayushi, a passionate tutor with experience teaching Maths, English, Science, and Reasoning to students aged 11–18 at an established tutoring company (AE - Accelerated Education). I focus on building confidence, breaking down tricky topics, and creating a calm, supportive space where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve. Whether preparing for exams or boosting day-to-day understanding, I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and goals. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at Tiffin Girls’ School, one of the top grammar schools in the UK. I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and went on to study A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and Computer Science (all A grades), along with AS Levels in Further Maths and Physics. I’m now pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, a Russell Group university known for its strong economics faculty and industry connections. I’m on track to graduate with a First-Class Honours and have taken part in several academic and practical projects - including investment strategy simulations, environmental research, and financial modelling. My academic background has given me a deep understanding of how to break down complex topics, especially in Maths, Economics, and Computer Science, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in subjects they may initially find challenging.
