Meine Muttersprache ist Englisch und ich studiere Philosophie in England. Ich unterrichte Englisch mit dem Ziel, die Sprache praxisnah zu vermitteln und dabei die Ausdrucksfähigkeit meiner Schüler*innen gezielt zu verbessern. Ich freue mich darauf, mit dir zu arbeiten! Ich habe meine GCSEs an der Westlands School und meine A-Levels an der Highsted Grammar School in Sittingbourne absolviert. In meinen GCSEs erhielt ich unter anderem die Note 9 in Englisch, Französisch und Geschichte sowie eine 8 in Mathematik. In meinen A-Levels erzielte ich ein A* in Englisch Literatur sowie As in Soziologie, Geschichte und Filmwissenschaft. Zurzeit studiere ich Philosophie (B.A.) an der University of Manchester. Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours. My curriculum was English, Arts, and Humanities-centered so I had subjects such as Media and Information Literacy, Research Writing, Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction, Contemporary Art, etc. I used to write for a travel blog and was the assistant to the managerial editor of a newspaper company so I proofread, edited, and wrote articles a lot.
