I am an online science tutor with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Subjects I teach : Lower level: Biology, Chemistry, 11+, and Math. GCSE: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, and Math. IGCSE: Chemistry, Physics, Math, and Biology. A level: Biology. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting and guiding students through GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level studies across education boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and WJEC. My approach combines tailored strategies to help each student build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their academic goals. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, delivered in a warm and friendly learning environment. I make extensive use of charts and diagrams, and I break down complex topics into their simplest, most understandable form. I hold a First school leaving, an A-level certificate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy( B.Pharm ). In addition, I have earned a TEFL/TESOL certificate and a digital marketing and e-commerce certificate through an online course. Currently, I am further enhancing my skills by undertaking a Data Analyst course.

I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies and Educational Science, which I completed at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany. I specialised in cultural theory and visual culture and spent an Erasmus semester at Université Bordeaux Montaigne in France. In addition, I hold a Yoga Alliance–approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, complemented by an additional 50 hours of training in meditation.
