My name is Khalood Zara, and I am a Law graduate with a strong and diverse academic background. Alongside studying Law at university, I completed A-levels in Mathematics, Economics, Business, and Psychology, which provided me with a broad foundation across both essay-based and quantitative subjects. This combination has enabled me to develop excellent written communication, analytical reasoning, and numerical skills, allowing me to support students with a range of learning styles and academic needs. My academic journey has equipped me with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, encourage critical thinking,-and help students build confidence in their abilities. Throughout my degree, l engaged with complex legal principles, developed advanced research skills, and learned how to construct clear, persuasive, and evidence-based arguments. Mathematics and Economics refined my numerical reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, while Business and Psychology strengthened my analytical writing, evaluation, and understanding of human behaviour and decision-making. Studying such a varied range of subjects has given me the flexibility to connect with students who have different academic strengths and learning styles. It has also equipped me with a balanced skill set that combines numerical proficiency with strong written communication and critical analysis. As a result, I am able to support students not only in mastering subject content but also in developing the confidence, independent thinking, and study techniques that underpin long-term academic success. I’m currently studying sociology at the University of the West of England in Bristol to become a teacher of sociology in the future! I love music- especially dance music- as well as animals (definitely a dog person!) and nature. My free time is usually spent going out with friends, playing video games, and going on walks. I am currently studying at UWE Bristol. Prior to this I studied at KLB at A-Level and GCSE. I have A-Level qualifications in sociology, psychology, and English literature. During my gap year I spent time working at my old secondary school/sixth form and have a year’s experience in tutoring both 1 on 1 and in small groups

I am Italian and earned a BA in Foreign Languages in Palermo, Italy. Since 2008, I have been teaching Italian and French in the UK, providing personalized tutoring to help students improve their language skills, gain confidence, and achieve their learning goals. Graduated in Palermo, Italy, with a degree focused on modern foreign languages, linguistics, communication, and intercultural studies. Developed advanced proficiency in Italian and French language, literature, and grammar, alongside strong communication and teaching skills.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
