Hi! My name is Aisha and I am a second-year medical student who really enjoys helping students feel more confident in their learning. I remember how stressful school and exams can feel, so I try to be the kind of tutor I would have wanted myself- patient, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I am calm, approachable, and always happy to explain things more than once if needed. I believe learning works best in a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is not just to help with the subject content, but to build confidence, motivation, and good study habits along the way. Outside of studying medicine, I enjoy reading, learning languages, practising yoga, and spending time with friends. As a passionate and dedicated tutor, I'm excited to help students succeed in Mathematics, Computer Science, and 11+ preparation. While I'm new to tutoring, my fresh perspective and enthusiasm for teaching are matched by a strong understanding of the subjects I teach. Went to Nower Hill High School and completed 11 GCSEs with grades 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and grades 8 in Further Maths, Chemistry and Business Studies. I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
