I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

I enjoyed it so much that I went on to study Psychology at university, gaining a much deeper understanding of different areas, from sports psychology to statistics to cognitive neuroscience. During my final year, I began tutoring other university students, developing communication skills and helping them manage their studies. Since graduating, I have focussed my tutoring primarily to A-level and GCSE level students, helping to break down complex concepts into more manageable ideas and develop confidence in longer-mark questions.
