Hi! I’m a gap year student who has a deep love for reading and continuous learning. I find joy in expanding my knowledge and sharing what I have learned with others, as I believe in the power of education and teaching to inspire and empower individuals. So here I am, offering tutoring in Alevel Maths, Chemistry and Biology and GCSE Maths. A-Levels: Chemistry (A*), Further Maths AS (A), Maths (A) and Biology (A). GCSE’s: 7 9’s, 2 8’s and a 7. I’ve partaken in Maths Olympiads and gained a full scholarship to take a 5-day Clinical Skills and Medical Research Course with Biograd Education.

I have always been passionate about teaching Chemistry, Psychology, and Biology, and I have been tutoring these subjects for over a year. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students grow in confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment for subjects they once found challenging. My goal is to continue helping students improve their grades by making learning engaging and accessible. When a subject feels difficult, it can be discouraging to persevere, which is why I strive to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. As a tutor, I believe in adapting my teaching approach to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that they find the subject both approachable and interesting. I have achieved 10 GCSEs, in which I received: a Grade 9 in Chemistry, 3 Grade 8’s in Physics, Food Preparation and Nutrition and Geography. 3 Grade 7’s in Biology, Maths and German and 3 Grade 6’s in English Literature, English Language and Religion, Psychology and Ethics. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A in Chemistry, an A in Psychology, and an A in Biology.

I have experience tutoring and preparing students for various examinations in Mathematics and Science. Exams such as, A level Exams, Edexcel entrance exams, GCSE, 11+, and Private School entry exam. My goal is to make these subjects engaging and accessible to all students, and to help each student reach their full potential. I love reading, writing poetry and short stories in my free time. I also enjoy art and music. I found exams pretty scary in school but managed to get on top of those nerves, leaving me feeling equipped to support students preparing for exams. Tackling revision and getting ready for tests doesn't have to be as scary as it seems - we'll do it together! I aim to support students academically and encourage enjoyment of English as it is a subject I am very passionate about. I have been tutoring for 4 years now- privately since 2021 and for GS since March 2022 and I find it an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. General availability: All weekdays. This year my students have already shown great improvements and I have continued supporting my long-term students, some of whom I have now been tutoring for 3 years! I am always happy to discuss progress and work on strategy with both parent and student and will adjust to the needs of both accordingly.
