Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient math teacher who enjoys helping students understand math in a simple and practical way. I believe math becomes easier when students understand the concept instead of simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to make learning math engaging, supportive, and less intimidating, while helping students build their problem-solving skills and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving, while my professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control further strengthened these skills. I also completed my TEFL certification and achieved a C2 Proficient level in the EF SET English test, which strengthened my communication skills and prepared me to support learners effectively.

I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.

Hello! I am a 3rd year medical student at Aston University, Birmingham. I am passionate about all things science and wish to share and help others enjoy science in the same way! I am 20 years old and have been trained and tested in communication types and styles. I love teaching and am happy to help wherever I can. I am currently captain of Aston Netball 1st team and have also coached this team for 6 months. I offer GCSE level tutoring in all 3 sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) as well as UCAT and medical school interview prep. Hopefully I can be of assistance. I can’t wait to meet you! I am a current student at Aston University where I study Medicine and surgery MBChB. I have received a merit for my two previous years. I completed my A-levels at Buxton Community school obtaining AAB in biology, chemistry and physics respectively.
