I recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics and have a strong passion for helping others understand and enjoy the subject. I’m a lively and creative tutor who makes learning English, English Literature, and Creative Writing exciting for students from elementary to Grade 12. I also teach elementary Geography and Biology, high school and introductory university Psychology, as well as high school Sociology. My lessons inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning engaging and fun! I completed my grade 12 high school diploma at Oaklands Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. I worked for several years as an educator at various schools in South Africa, teaching from grades 6 to 12. My subjects were English and Afrikaans at the senior level, and Biology and Geography at the elementary level. I am now completing my final year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in English and Psychology. I have also completed a certificate in The Principles of Human Resources.

Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals.
