I’m a second-year Mathematics student at the University of Manchester and I really enjoy helping others build confidence in Maths. I have experience tutoring as well as working as a football coach with children, which has taught me how to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive and supportive environment. My aim is always to make lessons approachable and enjoyable while helping students make steady progress. For context, I achieved 91% in my first year at university and received A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A level. Currently, I am a student at the University of Manchester working towards a BSc in Mathematics. I'm about to move into my second year, after scoring 91% in my first year exams. For A levels, I attended King Ecgbert school in Sheffield, where I achieved A*A*A* in Maths, further Maths and physics. I also attended King Ecgbert school for secondary school, and I attained six grade 9s (including Maths) and three grade 8s at GCSE.

My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.
