I'm a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in a supportive learning environment. I hold a BA in Community Education, an ILM Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring, and an ILM Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management. I work across schools teaching children in various subjects, particularly English. My teaching and training experience includes English, music, board game design, safeguarding and digital systems. I enjoy making lessons engaging and interactive through practical exercises, discussions, games and real-life examples. I adapt my teaching approach to each student's age, ability, learning style, level and individual goals. I believe learning should be enjoyable, encouraging and rewarding, with clear explanations, constructive feedback and opportunities to practise. I have just graduated from BSc (hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy with a first class. I know studying can be hard and sometimes knowing the content isn't enough. I have been tutored myself in the past, and so I know first hand what methods work and how student specific tailoring is key! I like to ask the students what they feel will be beneficial so that we can get the most out of the lessons. Through working on our weaknesses and building on our strengths, I hope we can strive to succeed. I have just graduated with a first class in BSc (Hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy. I am about to start my medical degree (MBBS) this September. I have a passion for Science and Maths and love helping others out with information and techniques that helped me during my studies! My name is Fernanda and I am 23 years old, with a BSc in Forensic Science from the University of Kent. I am Peruvian, my first language is Spanish, and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years throughout my university career. I have been studying English and have had all my classes in English since I was 4 years old. I am a big fan of musical theatre (won't speak about it unless asked about), sports such as volleyball and athletics and dancing. I studied Forensic Science (Hons) and graduated from the University of Kent with a Upper Second Class Honours (2:1). I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry) and IGCSEs in Epsom College in Malaysia. I have experience tutoring and helping students from primary school and my classmates throughout my academic journey. I have also been a EAL teacher at a summer camp in Malaysia where I helped develop the English Language of primary school students who had very little English to none at all. I am currently a Teaching Assistant where I work with kids of different ages, ranging from 11 to 16, and different age groups. I assist in GCSE mathematics, English and Science as well as Year 7 core subjects and additional.

I'm a university student in my 3rd year studying at the University of Manchester. I'm studying Russian and French language. I'm currently doing my residence abroad and am starting in Yerevan, Armenia and will go to Astana, Kazakhstan in February and France in summer. I have also trained in Tae Kwon do for the past 15 years. I did my GCSEs at Queensbridge school, Birmingham and received 10 qualifications from grades 7-9. English language - Grade 9 English literature - Grade 8 French - Grade 9 Physics - Grade 8 Chemistry - Grade 8 Biology - Grade 7 History - Grade 7 Religious Studies - Grade 8 Maths - Grade 7 Dance BTEC - Level 2 distinction I did 3 a levels in Physics, Chemistry and French and received ABB and a B in my extended project qualification. I completed these at King Edward VI Camp Hill school for Girls. In my first year at the University of Manchester I did Russian from abinitio level and averaged a 90 across the year and French from post-A level and averaged a 73. I averaged a 76 in my first year overall. In my second year I averaged an 85 in Russian language and a 76 in French language and a 71 overall for the year.
