I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. I achieved 3 A*s and an A in my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish. I am a first year economics student.

With over two decades of professional experience, I, Edwin S. Cordenete, have successfully led and contributed to a wide spectrum of IT initiatives, both locally and internationally. My career spans roles as a Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, and Consultant, during which I have delivered exceptional results in system design, project leadership, and implementing cutting-edge technologies that drive business-critical solutions. My expertise extends to software development, network and server administration, technical documentation, and ensuring quality assurance for complex IT systems. Beyond my industry achievements, I am a dedicated educator, having taught IT courses at renowned institutions including Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua University, and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. I’ve also mentored students in mathematics across academic levels, fostering the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master in Engineering Management with a specialization in Systems Management, I continuously refine my expertise. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for six months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.
