My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Whether I'm doing cryptic crosswords or sudokus, I believe that challenging your brain is the most entertaining activity. I am currently attending Newcastle University studying Accounting and Finance. I completed my A-levels at King Edward VI School in Morpeth, where I achieved ABB. I completed my GCSEs at The Blyth Academy, where I achieved 5 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 2 grade 7s.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017.
