Hi, I'm Adam a recent graduate from Loughborough University, where I completed a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and achieved First Class Honours. I grew up in Manchester, attending a state school before studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Business Studies at A-Level. I then completed a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough University, achieving First Class Honours. My studies covered advanced topics in maths, physics, and engineering, with favourite modules including Structural Design, Spacecraft Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Gas Turbine Design. These strengthened my problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills, which I now enjoy passing on through tutoring.

ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

I was born in Greater London, and have 3 sisters. I am a very sporty person, my favourite sport is tennis! I also enjoy playing the piano and playing video games in my free time. My Education: GCSEs: I received 7 9s, 1 8 and 2 7s A Levels: A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Spanish, A in History Currently working towards a degree in Mathematics at university Other Qualifications: I have done piano up to Grade 7, and am currently working on Grade 8 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award I have also worked as a volunteer in helping to coach young children to play tennis I have had a lot of previous tutoring experience , for example I used to work at a company where I tutored Maths and English to students at all levels up to GCSE.

Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day. I have learnt so many traditional food dishes on my travels as well as sharing my home recipes I love.
