I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues. I like reading books and doing my own research because I want to improve not just as a teacher, but also as a person. I try to bring these insights into my lessons so they feel more meaningful and relatable. I also love traveling because it helps me experience different cultures and perspectives, which I think is important when teaching language. As a person, I’m goal-oriented and organized, but I also try to stay flexible depending on the situation. I always reflect on my teaching and look for ways to improve. I am a Maths teacher with 4 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.
