Hi, I am Ashbury! I am an encouraging Maths and Physics tutor currently studying Physics at the University of Edinburgh, with over a year of experience providing personalised one-to-one tuition at GCSE and A-level. I enjoy building strong connections with my students, helping them to strengthen their understanding, improve performance in STEM subjects, and ultimately reach their academic goals! My sessions are structured to consolidate key concepts while developing exam technique through guided exam-style questions and targeted practice. There is a strong focus on developing problem-solving and resilience that can be applied to independent practice. Additionally, I have an in-depth knowledge of Maths, Physics and Further Maths specifications and questions at GCSE and A-level from teaching and personal experience. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel free to ask any questions, so that they can build long-term confidence in their mathematical skills. I am currently in 2nd year of a 5-year Physics Integrated Masters at the University of Edinburgh, where I have received an A1 (equivalent to a 90%+ first) in all my modules so far. Previously, I attended Sir William Perkins School in Chertsey for all of secondary school, where I achieved 4A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Art A-level. My familiarity with mark schemes and exam technique aided in this and supports my tutoring significantly. At GCSE I achieved 10 Grade 9 GCSE's, including all three Sciences, Maths and Further Maths. Additionally, I was Head Prefect at SWPS and also supported tutoring internally, often working with a range of ages.

Hi! I'm Connor and I am studying Physics at university! At uni my favorite topic is space and galaxies. In my spare time I work on old cars and do astrophotography. I am dyslexic, so I understand that different people have different approaches to learning and that there is no single correct way to go about it! I am currently attending the university of Liverpool studying Physics going into my third year of undergraduate study aiming to complete an integrated masters and hopefully move on to a PHD. so far over both year one and two I have averaged a first class degree whilst still maintaining my hobbies and a job on the weekends.
