Hi, I’m Udit! I’m currently working as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie PhD Fellowship — a highly competitive international research scholarship. I also have a Master’s degree in Chemistry (with Distinction) and a First Division Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught Science at GCSE, A Level, and undergraduate levels. I previously taught at Bedford College, where I worked closely with students studying for AQA and OCR exams. I now teach undergraduate Chemistry at university level, and I’m passionate about helping students build a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. In my lessons, I focus on strengthening core concepts so students can approach more complex ideas with confidence. I like to begin by working through a few basic questions to identify areas of focus, and then tailor the lesson accordingly. My sessions usually include discussion, problem-solving, and past paper practice, always with your goals in mind. I’ve been tutoring online for several years and really enjoy the flexibility and focus it offers. I completed my school and sixth form education at St Paul’s Church College in Agra, India, where I achieved strong grades in science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biotechnology. I then studied for a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, graduating with Honours in Chemistry, and went on to complete an MSc in Chemistry with distinction at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Lancashire. My doctoral research focused on improving the stability of materials used in solar panels and electronic devices. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with advanced laboratory methods and international research facilities. Alongside my academic background, I have taught science across various levels. I previously taught GCSE Science, A Level Chemistry, and Applied Science courses at Bedford College, where I also led the T Level Science programme and supported curriculum development. I now work as an Associate Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. My main area of expertise is Chemistry, particularly physical and inorganic chemistry, but I also have a solid understanding of Biology and experience supporting students across all science disciplines. My tutoring style is calm, clear, and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or looking for extra support at university level. I aim to help students build confidence, develop a deeper understanding of science, and succeed in both exams and future studies.

My name is Niav, I’m a second year medical student. I love teaching, helping other students achieve their best to become a step closer to their dreams. I’ve helped my students achieve 8s and 9s for GCSEs. It’s a step by step process, but this time your not alone :) I completed my GCSEs in 2022, achieving all A-A*s, subjects including; biology, chemistry , physics (triple science), maths, english, creative imedia, Spanish, geography and more . I then went onto do A Levels in Core maths, biology, chemistry and psychology. Now, I am currently a medical student who is in second year.

My name is Jason. I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and motivated and understand that every student faces challenges in their own way, so I always try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves further. Tutoring has taught me not only how to guide others academically but also how to encourage resilience and independent thinking. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking and sports, which often inspires the way I teach and connect with learners. My goal as a tutor is to help students see that with the right approach and mindset, they are capable of achieving far more than they might believe and make it a more enjoyable experience. I've had past experience as a tutor supporting GCSE students in Maths and Chemistry. During my time at St Olave's Grammar School, I discovered a passion for helping others learn by tutoring younger students, both one-on-one and in small groups. I focused on breaking down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and tailoring my explanations to match each student’s learning style. This approach helped my students improve their grades, develop stronger study habits, and build the confidence needed to succeed in their exams. I have finished studying A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry which has deepened my knowledge and strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas in an accessible way. My specialisations are in Maths and Chemistry, where I particularly enjoy guiding students through problem-solving techniques, exam preparation strategies, and practical applications of theory.

Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. With my lessons focusing on teaching based on the students' learning style, I hope to put those nerves at ease. Below is the list of subjects I teach and at which level. KS1/2/3: Mathematics, Science GCSE (Including IGCSE): Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics Current PhD student researching new catalysts for acetylene hydrogenation. My MSc achieved a First (1st) class classification in Materials for Energy and Environment at UCL, where I specialised in the interference of tyre wear particles with atmospheric ice nucleation. Obtained an upper second (2.1) classification for my BSc in Chemistry at Cardiff University. While my speciality is Chemistry on paper, maths and physics are integral to what I do in my current and previous research.
