Hello! My name is Rifnas Siyathdeen, and I am a dedicated tutor with 10 years of teaching experience supporting O/L and A/L students. I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations.
