Hi! I’m Amarachi, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Nottingham. I teach maths and chemistry, and I’m passionate about making these subjects engaging and easy to understand. As a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic tutor, I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and practicing taekwondo, and I always appreciate getting to know my students' interests as well. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. At A level, I achieved grades A in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and at GCSE, I earned grades 8–9 in Triple Science, Maths, French and English Literature and Language. Hello! I specialise in tutoring Biology and Chemistry from GCSE to A Level. I focus on making complex concepts clear and accessible, using explanations, examples and strategies that suit each student’s learning style. I’m passionate about helping students strengthen their understanding, improve exam technique, and grow in confidence. I aim to make lessons enjoyable, productive and personalised to each learner’s goals. I studied at the University of Nottingham, completing a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. My degree gave me strong foundations in cellular biology, molecular pathways and biomedical science, with particular interest in pharmacology and neuroscience. My dissertation involved both laboratory work and bioinformatic analysis of proteins, strengthening my practical skills and ability to interpret scientific data. I also have experience working in pharmaceutical analysis, giving me insight into real-world applications of biochemistry. In addition, I hold Safeguarding Level 1 and Level 2 certificates through my work with a mental health charity, ensuring I understand student wellbeing and safe practice.
