Hi! I’m Surabhi - I love helping students not just understand their subjects, but actually enjoy learning. I focus on building confidence, finding the right approach for each person, and making lessons engaging and interactive. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small or silly they may sound :) Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, art and dance! All of which helps me bring a bit of creativity into our sessions. Over the course of my education, I have developed strong knowledge in Economics but even more in English Literature - a subject I am highly passionate about, alongside effective study strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others. I am also a medical student, which has strengthened my discipline, problem solving skills, and passion for education. I attended a private Spanish primary school and completed part of my secondary education there, which helped me develop strong academic foundations and adaptability in learning. After moving to the UK, I completed my GCSEs and achieved excellent results, earning all 8s and 9s, including two Level 2 Distinctions. I then went on to study A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving three As, and I also earned an A in AS Level Sociology in Year 12. I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Manchester, where I continue to build on my academic skills and passion for learning.

All the resources I use are made by myself for each students particular needs and I always aim for students to achieve top grades. I am available to tutor all the subjects in my profile to GCSE level I also tutor Geography HL, English Literature SL and Mathematics A&I SL at IB level I completed 11 different GCSE subjects in the year 2020 and moved on to complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in my time at 6th form (the IB is an equivalent of A-Levels but with 6 subjects instead of 3).
