Hello everyone! I'm Teacher Sheila and I'm excited to be your math teacher this year! Math can be challenging, but it's also a powerful tool for solving real-world problems and thinking critically. Together, we'll explore concepts, solve puzzles, and build skills that will serve you in countless ways. I’m here to make math fun, accessible, and rewarding, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish. Let’s dive in and discover the world of math together! I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. To keep parents and guardians involved, I communicate regularly through multiple channels and hold conferences as needed to discuss individual progress, aligning with school requirements and ensuring a collaborative approach to each student's development.

I'm Leanne, a second year physics student at Imperial College London. I love physics and maths and want to share my passion with students to inspire and empower them. I have experience working with students of all ages and believe that every student has the ability to achieve anything they want to given the correct support. Outside of my degree I also do a lot of music, playing the trumpet in orchestras and wind bands. In my free time I also love reading and theatre. I am currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London. I am in the second year of my 4 year MSc in Physics specialising in theoretical physics. I have A-levels A*, A*, A, A in physics, mathematics, further mathematics and music and 11 grade 9s at GCSE including maths, further maths and physics.
