Hello! My name is Aisha I am a dedicated and compassionate tutor, that has a strong background in teaching students the curriculum for both Biology and Chemistry as well as Maths from primary level up until GCSE, across all exam boards. I focus on helping students build a strong understanding of the topics they may be struggling as well as doing sufficient exam application practise to help build confidence for exams. All students learn differently, so I tailor my methods to suit each student’s unique needs, ensuring they leave with a solid understanding of the subject they initially struggled with. Whether a student needs help building foundational skills, catching up, or reaching higher levels of achievement, I create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged, understood, and motivated. My style is highly interactive and flexible—I use tested strategies to make challenging concepts easier to grasp and lessons more engaging. From breaking down harder problems to celebrating small wins, I focus on building confidence and independence in every learner. I'm patient and understanding, always taking the time to listen, adapt, and ensure my students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes as part of the learning process. I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology at A-level and am currently pursuing a clinically science-based degree, which keeps me deeply engaged with scientific concepts on a daily basis. This strong academic foundation allows me to teach both subjects with clarity, confidence, and real-world relevance. I currently teach -KS2 level: Maths -GCSE level: Biology and Chemistry -A-level: Chemistry (with a particular specialism in Organic chemistry) My in-depth understanding of the subject allows me to explain even the most challenging topics in a way that makes sense to students. I focus heavily on building core understanding, improving exam technique, and boosting confidence—especially in areas students often find overwhelming, like mechanisms, reaction pathways, and applied problem-solving. I’ve previously worked as a tutor online and completed a Teaching and Mentoring Programme in person specifically designed for supporting GCSE Chemistry students. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I make complex ideas simple and use relatable examples to help students connect with the material. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or trying to gain confidence in the basics, I provide a patient, focused, and motivating environment for them to learn and succeed.

I'm quite passionate about helping students succeed because I've been in the same situation myself. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who thrives on seeing pupils grow in confidence and understanding. I have a good background in Physics and Maths, I tutor up to A-level in Maths, backed by top grades (9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-level Maths, and A in Further Maths). I’ve helped students achieve their academic goals, including guiding a family friend to an A in A-level Maths, securing her place at her first-choice university. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to challenge students while encouraging them to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I often use graph sketches, Venn diagrams and rough drawings to help illustrate problems. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I’m an avid Manchester United fan even if they're not very good! I attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Business studies and Computer Science at A-level. After my A-levels I went to the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.

I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. I have been a tutor with GoStudent for 6 months and haven taught over 100 lessons. Currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at King's College London GCSEs = All 9's.
