I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. To keep parents and guardians involved, I communicate regularly through multiple channels and hold conferences as needed to discuss individual progress, aligning with school requirements and ensuring a collaborative approach to each student's development.

Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

Hi, I’m John Audry, an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher! I have over two years of teaching under my belt, and I have always loved helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning mathematics easy and exciting for everyone through interactive activities and stimulating problem-solving sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. Also, I make sure to give real-world applications of the abstract theories in mathematics to make it feel more relatable. In my free time, I enjoy working and designing machines and engines, which has developed my attention to detail, and has helped me stay sharp, focused, and analytical. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I gained a robust foundation in mathematical theories, scientific concepts, and their real-world applications. My studies equipped me with the knowledge to provide you with excellent mathematics education, and the skills to work with other people with diverse backgrounds.
