I am a 3rd year biomedical engineering student at University College London. I come from an international background and I have been tutoring my whole life, since age 14 and pride myself on making sure that the way I teach is enjoyable and engaging. I love to chat with people so getting to know my student and what they enjoy is very important as a part of teaching. My hobbies are triathlon and goint to the gym. I also follow football very closely. I went to the English School of Kyrenia in the TRNC. It is an international school and therefore I did IGCSEs and International A Levels. I did my A Levels in Maths, Physics and Biology and achieved an A grade in all three as well as 8s and 9s in all of my IGCSEs. While at school I spent free time tutoring younger years. I now attend University College London and am in my third year of Biomedical Engineering. I have been tutoring 2 family friends aged 16 for their IGCSEs and I tutored my younger brother A Level Physics and Maths while balancing my university degree. My degree has a perfect balance of Maths, Physics, and Biology, making me feel confident that my knowledge is up to date and constantly developing, allowing me to tutor the subjects to a high level. Currently doing the subjects I tutor at a university level has allowed me to understand concepts on a deeper, core level and allow me to teach them at a fundamental level, rather than just memorisation.

Hi! I am a 2nd Year Biomedical Science student who is looking to help students in secondary school. I have been tutoring for 4 months and have helped students gain confidence leading to amazing outcomes. As someone who went from a Grade 2 to a Grade 8 in Chemistry I personally understand what it feels like to struggle and have mastered the right revision techniques and discipline to work hard needed to improve quickly. I attended DeLisle Catholic College from Year 7 until Year 10 which is when my family moved to London and I started going to Loxford School of Science and Technology from Year 11. Most of my subjects exam boards changed meaning I had to teach myself the Year 10 content as well as the Year 11 content in one year. Despite this I was able to achieve an 8 in Physics, 8 in Chemistry, 7 in Biology, 7 in Maths, 7 in French, 7 in RE, 7 in English Language, 6 in English Literature and 6 in Media Studies. I stayed at Loxford for sixth form as well where I studied A Level Chemistry, Biology and RE where I got C,C,D. I have just finished my first year at LSBU studying Biomedical Science in which I achieved a first in every module. I have been tutoring for 4 months in person and have received only positive reviews. I have also been reading with students at a Primary School for 6 months to help them prepare for SATS.

Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. I’m passionate about learning, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals, which is why I’m excited to offer online tutoring. During my A-levels, I studied Business, Law, and Physical Education. These subjects gave me a strong understanding of how businesses operate, how the legal system supports organisations and individuals, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and communication. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students can face and know how valuable clear explanations and supportive guidance can be. Alongside my studies, I play netball for the University of Nottingham. Netball has been a huge part of my life, and I love everything about the sport. It has taught me important skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and time management, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Balancing university studies with competitive sport has also helped me develop excellent organisation and commitment. Outside of university, I’m a proud Liverpool FC supporter and enjoy keeping up with football. At school I achieved 3 A*’s in Business Studies, Law and Physical Education. In Buisness I studied core areas such as marketing, HR, strategic decision making and finance, and particularly enjoyed applying theory to real life scenarios. In Law I covered criminal law, contract law, public law, negligence and more. In PE I did netball as my practical sport and loved learning about the history of sport eg, the olympics. I also achieved 10 GCSE’s all ranging from grade 7-9

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for over a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s. I am currently studying for a part-time master's degree in architectural history at Cambridge.
