Hi, I'm Ravija and I recently graduated from the University of Southampton with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. I want to help students reach their full potential and build confidence, whether that be through achieving a particular grade or tackling challenging topics! Initially, I attended the Northampton School for Boys for my secondary education, achieving 11 GCSEs ranging from grades 7 to 9. Then I went to sixth form at the same school and studied 4 A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry) and earned grades A*, A*, A, A. Finally, I graduated from the University of Southampton with an Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics in the summer of 2026. I have experience teaching up to A Level qualification in Physics, Maths and Further Maths.

Hello, I am a stop motion animator and aspiring filmmaker based in Scotland. Stop motion has allowed me to focus on my passion for storytelling and combines my love of literature, theatre and art. I absolutely adore stories: reading them, watching them, and capturing them myself. I am dyslexic and it has taken me time to develop all of the studying tips and tricks that I now have the privilege to share with others. I’m also a keen gardener, baker and painter. I have a first class joint honours Master of Arts in English literature and Film & Visual Culture from the University of Aberdeen. I was given the Seafield medal for English and the Film 23’ prize for my dissertation. I also studied Geology, Geography and Ecology as elective subjects at university. I also recently completed the Aardman Academy animation courses SM1 and SM2. I did GCSE’s and IGCSE’s followed by the International Baccalaureate at St Leonard’s High School and attended the Royal Conservatoire Juniors Production program alongside. My main subjects at IB level were English, Environmental Systems and Societies, Maths, Italian, art and theatre.

I have been tutoring online since April 2018, helping students with KS3 and GCSE English Language & Literature. I have experience with AQA, Eduqas and Pearson Edexcel (including IGCSE) exam boards. I also help overseas students learn English as a foreign language. Curriculum has ranged from Oxford Reading Tree to Reach to IELTS, TESOL and ESOL. Having been diagnosed with severe dyslexia when I was young, I have always had an affinity with those who struggle with education, and have had to develop my own way to learn efficiently, and use this experience to help others. TEFL 120 Hours Certificate Bachelors Degree for the Arts I hold a bachelors degree in film, and have been a prolific writer since my childhood years. I also hold an HND in music production, and have previously tutored 9 to 15 year olds Djing and music production.

With extensive experience teaching a wide range of subjects, I have developed interdisciplinary methods that make learning both enjoyable and relevant. By integrating geospatial sciences with English language instruction, I create lessons that demonstrate the real-world applications of what students are learning. My aim is to ignite curiosity and passion for the subject while equipping students with the skills to excel academically and beyond. Over the years, I have taught students from diverse age groups, from primary school to university, and from various cultural backgrounds and nationalities. This breadth of experience has allowed me to tailor my teaching approach to meet individual learning needs, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, can succeed.
