I am a MSc in Chemistry by Research Student student who completed my undergraduate degree in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Warwick. During my BSc, I undertook an Industrial Placement at Vertex Pharmaceuticals synthesising molecules and delivering compounds for biological testing in the treatment for rare diseases.

Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.
