Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. Here I obtained an A*A*A* grade in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I’m currently studying a Physics degree at the University of Edinburgh

I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from primary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I am passionate about helping students learn and committed to providing them with the best possible education. I am proficient in English I hold a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mathematics & Computer Science with Honors. Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies and Educational Science, which I completed at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany. I specialised in cultural theory and visual culture and spent an Erasmus semester at Université Bordeaux Montaigne in France. In addition, I hold a Yoga Alliance–approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, complemented by an additional 50 hours of training in meditation.

I am currently studying Law at University and have over a year of tutoring experience. I find it really rewarding to help students achieve their greatest potential and enjoy tutoring. Reaping the benefits and seeing students improve is such a lovely experience to witness. I am currently studying for my bachelors degree in Law at the University of Birmingham and I have A-levels in Law, English Literature and Criminology. I achieved 8s in both English Language & Literature at GCSE, furthering this to A-level. I enjoy essay-based subjects!
