Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now! In geography (UK up to GCSE), I explore topics such as physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues. My lessons involve interactive activities, discussions, and case studies to help students develop their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. For history (UK up to GCSE and 11+ reasoning), I focus on key events, people, and concepts from different historical periods. I use a range of resources, including primary sources, documentaries, and simulations, to help students engage with the subject matter and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. Overall, my online lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student.
