I am a calm, friendly GCSE and SATS English Literature and Language tutor who wants to help students grow in confidence and achieve the top grades. I have experience in tutoring primary school English, and now I want to take my passion for tutoring and teach GCSE and SATS English Literature and Language. For my dissertation, i achieved a first class grade (82%). I completed a 10,000-word project on the 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, analysing the systemic factors that caused the disaster and engaging with topics such as environmental regulation, corporate accountability and sustainability. This strengthened my skills in independent research, planning, structuring arguments and writing in a clear, persuasive style. I am now progressing to a Master’s in Social Science Research at Loughborough University, where I will be further developing advanced skills in essay writing, academic reading and detailed analysis. Across my education, I have built strong experience in breaking down complex pieces of writing, identifying key ideas and explaining them in simple, accessible ways.

I am a First-Class Computer Systems Engineering graduate. Mathematics and Computing have been central to both my academic journey and professional experience. With 11 years of teaching and tutoring experience across GCSE and A-Level, I have developed a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the common challenges students face. I enjoy helping students move from confusion to clarity by breaking complex topics into structured, logical steps.
