I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024. I studied an Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Prior to this I studied Business, PE and maths at A-level getting A* A* A respectively. I achieved a grade 8 in maths at GCSE.

As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I offer comprehensive support in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology for all educational levels, including KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, AS, A-Level, and Higher Levels. I welcome students of all age groups, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I am Joseph, a PhD holder in Quantum Bio-Inorganic Chemistry. I have a MSc in Chemical Engineering and a BE in Petroleum Engineering. I really enjoy and have a vast experience in tutoring students, and I am fully convinced that students encounter their subjects with me, as they have never before. My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Combining this with practice paper questions from the start of teaching guarantees success. I am well versed in working with primary and secondary school students through 1 to 1 teaching and am committed to creating an interactive, personalised, and enjoyable lesson plan catered to every pupil's learning style. I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.
