About me: Hi, I'm Rhianna. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their best results. My tutoring is tailored to each student and their exam board, ensuring that content is clearly understood and effectively applied, so students feel prepared and confident in exams. Subjects I Tutor: With over 4 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students across a range of subjects, tiers, and abilities, I help students develop understanding, critical thinking, and exam confidence. I tutor: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Maths (GCSE, all exam boards); English Literature (GCSE and A- Level, all exam boards); Psychology & Sociology (AQA, GCSE & A-Level) Teaching Style: My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. Sessions typically involve teaching key content, guided examples, and applying knowledge to exam-style questions specific to the student's exam board and level. I place strong emphasis on exam techniques and confidence, ensuring students understand content and how to apply it. Students typically receive one piece of homework every three weeks (e.g., essays, writing tasks, or worksheets). Exam-year students (Years 11-13) receive up to 2 pieces every 3 weeks to support their progress. All extended tasks come with detailed feedback reports that highlight areas for improvement, assess the student's work relative to their current level, and guide how to reach the next grade or top bands. Higher Education: MA in Philosophy and Psychology - University of Glasgow - Achieved 83% in my first year and am on track for another First-Class result in my second year. - As well as I have taken a course in Archaeology for my first and second years. Further Education: - Achieved straight A*-A grades in English Literature, Sociology, and Psychology. - Completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on gambling motivations. - Self-taught A-Level Business Studies. Volunteering: - Events Coordinator, Glasgow's largest student fundraising initiative, helping to raise over £50,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer. - Volunteered with IntoUniversity, mentoring students for 25+ hours, receiving an award for contribution.

My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how culture influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.

My name is Chloe, and I am currently in my final year of my masters! I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy learning. My lessons will be interactive, detailed and adapt to your needs, it will be a safe space to learn and understand different topics. I look forward to sharing my love for knowledge with you! I completed the International Baccalaureate where I went to study 6 subjects in sixth form at Dartford grammar, (rather than the typical 3 A levels). I then completed a degree in biomedical sciences (1st class dissertation), then went straight into my Masters. I am now in my final year of my masters studying to be a Physician Associate!
