I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. I’m Avalon! I’m 22 years old, I’ve recently graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. I’m currently doing my PhD in Computational Chemistry (also at Cardiff University). My teaching style is very methodical but still aims to pass on my enthusiasm for my subject. 1st class BSc in Chemistry with a Placement year abroad: 2021-2025. Currently doing a PhD in Computational Chemistry: 2025-2029. A-levels Maths (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (B): 2019-2021. GCSEs achieved grades 7-9 in Maths, English and all three sciences.

I went to Northgate Sixth Form in Ipswich to study for A levels where I achieved a grade A* in both Maths and Further Maths and a grade A in both Physics and Economics. Before this, I completed my GCSEs at Northgate High School in Ipswich where I achieved grade 9 in 5 subjects (including Maths), grade 8 in 4 subjects and grade 6 in 1 subject. My strengths are in Maths and the sciences. I am also musically trained having achieved a grade 8 merit on the piano from Trinity College London, a grade 5 distinction on music theory from ABRSM and a grade 9 in Music GCSE.
