Hi, I'm Saanvi! I'm a 2nd year UCL Medical student who has a high-level academic background - I've been teaching since I was in Year 11 and I am open to teaching many GCSE subjects as well as 11+, UCAT, medical admissions help and also A-Levels. I'm very excited to share my knowledge with all of you guys :) I achieved Top 10 in the Warwickshire 11+ exams when I was in Year 6. Then, I attended Nottingham Girls' High School for all of secondary school at which I had a high level academic background, achieving all 9s at GCSEs and all A*/As at A-level. I also achieved full marks in an EPQ as well as 3070 Band 1 in my UCAT. I received interviews from all 4 of my uni choices (Cambridge, UCL, Bristol, Leicester) and received 3 offers (UCL, Bristol, Leicester) - I now currently have passed my 1st year of UCL Med.

Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. We’ll work through it together until you feel confident. I’m patient, supportive, and I’ll never make you feel bad for not knowing something. That’s literally what I’m here for. I really want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I love seeing someone go from “I don’t get this at all” to “wait… that actually makes sense now!” It’s the best part of tutoring. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. I’m Avalon! I’m 22 years old, I’ve recently graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. I’m currently doing my PhD in Computational Chemistry (also at Cardiff University). My teaching style is very methodical but still aims to pass on my enthusiasm for my subject. 1st class BSc in Chemistry with a Placement year abroad: 2021-2025.
