Hi, I’m Amaan—a 4th-year medical student at Keele with a passion for teaching. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at GCSE and A-Level. With years of experience tutoring students and mentoring peers, I focus on building confidence, understanding, and results. I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults. I hold GCSE in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. In addition, I hold A level in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. I also hold BSc Electrical engineering, PTLLS L3 award in education and training and Diploma L3 in teaching and supporting learners.

Hi, I’m Jolene, a passionate and dedicated math teacher! I teach Algebra, Geometry, and General Mathematics, and I love helping students discover that math can be both understandable and enjoyable. With three years of teaching experience, I focus on student-centered learning, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and meaningful. My goal is not only to help students master concepts but also to build their confidence and critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy mobile games, movies, and visiting relaxing places that inspire me to recharge and continue growing as an educator. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I built a strong foundation in math, teaching methods, and classroom management.
