I am currently a registered full-time student at STADIO Higher Education pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching (NQF 7). I completed a 120 Hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate from TEFL Universal , providing me with strong practical skills for teaching English as a foreign language to all ages. I hold Provisional Registration as a Student Teacher. My training covers lesson planning, classroom management, student development , and specialized English areas like free talk, daily talk, travel English, reading, and phonics. My name is Fernanda and I am 23 years old, with a BSc in Forensic Science from the University of Kent. I am Peruvian, my first language is Spanish, and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years throughout my university career. I have been studying English and have had all my classes in English since I was 4 years old. I am a big fan of musical theatre (won't speak about it unless asked about), sports such as volleyball and athletics and dancing. I studied Forensic Science (Hons) and graduated from the University of Kent with a Upper Second Class Honours (2:1). I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry) and IGCSEs in Epsom College in Malaysia. I have experience tutoring and helping students from primary school and my classmates throughout my academic journey. I have also been a EAL teacher at a summer camp in Malaysia where I helped develop the English Language of primary school students who had very little English to none at all. I am currently a Teaching Assistant where I work with kids of different ages, ranging from 11 to 16, and different age groups. I assist in GCSE mathematics, English and Science as well as Year 7 core subjects and additional.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

I then went on to study A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving three As, and I also earned an A in AS Level Sociology in Year 12. I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Manchester, where I continue to build on my academic skills and passion for learning.
