I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024. I studied an Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Prior to this I studied Business, PE and maths at A-level getting A* A* A respectively. I achieved a grade 8 in maths at GCSE.

I am Nibin Kuzhikkamthadam Roy and I'm very interested in applying for the post of Mathematics Teacher. I completed my post-graduate degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, along with a 2.1 in BSc in Mathematics, and I'm working as a Mathematics Teacher at Technology College, Margate. I am confident that I have the requisite skills and the potential to inspire and encourage children of all abilities to reach their full potential. My work experience and academic knowledge allowed me to experience life in a secondary school setting from a teacher's perspective. I enjoyed the way that every day is different and that each child is unique. I have 4 years of classroom teaching experience and worked as the academic head of the mathematics department. I wrote three academic books for that organization. I started teaching when I was studying in year 12, which is my passion. I worked part-time during my post-graduate time in a child park for helping differently-abled young persons. I am a good orator with communication and debate skills and served as a student member of the board of studies at the University of Kent. I was appointed as an innovation council member of Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, and also served as School union chairman and College Union General Secretary at the school and college levels. In my school days, I won the mathematics Olympiad prize. These roles have developed my skills in public speaking, liaising with a large number of people, planning, organizing and taking responsibility for managing programs. Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours.
