Hi, I’m Anie Jo, a licensed professional teacher and TEFL-certified educator with a passion for teaching English and Biology! I love creating a fun, supportive space where students feel confident exploring language and literature. My goal is to make learning exciting through interactive lessons while building curiosity, cultural awareness, and strong communication skills. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English, and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree to deepen my expertise. With three years of teaching experience—two as a private tutor, one in ESL, and six months as a secondary teacher—I’ve learned to adapt to different learning styles and create engaging, personalized lessons that make learning enjoyable!

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree. I was a Grammar School student having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels before I moved on to University. I am currently a Medical undergraduate student. For my GCSEs I achieved grade 9 in Math, Biology and Physics, grade 8 in Geography and Chemistry and grade 7 in both English literature, language, History and Spanish. For my A-Levels I achieved grade A for Biology and Chemistry. Towards my university admission process for medicine I took the UCAT test having achieved a score of 3060 placing me in the top 3% of UCAT test takers in the country for that year.
