Hello, I am a stop motion animator and aspiring filmmaker based in Scotland. Stop motion has allowed me to focus on my passion for storytelling and combines my love of literature, theatre and art. I absolutely adore stories: reading them, watching them, and capturing them myself. I am dyslexic and it has taken me time to develop all of the studying tips and tricks that I now have the privilege to share with others. I’m also a keen gardener, baker and painter. I have a first class joint honours Master of Arts in English literature and Film & Visual Culture from the University of Aberdeen. I was given the Seafield medal for English and the Film 23’ prize for my dissertation. I also studied Geology, Geography and Ecology as elective subjects at university. I also recently completed the Aardman Academy animation courses SM1 and SM2. I did GCSE’s and IGCSE’s followed by the International Baccalaureate at St Leonard’s High School and attended the Royal Conservatoire Juniors Production program alongside. My main subjects at IB level were English, Environmental Systems and Societies, Maths, Italian, art and theatre.

Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a third-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding so they’re fully prepared to tackle any challenges they face in exams. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and relevant, so I work to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether it’s helping with exam preparation or simply tackling tricky topics, my aim is to support students in developing critical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading and keeping fit, which help me maintain balance and stay motivated. I received my early education at different primary schools, which provided me with a strong academic foundation. I then completed my GCSEs and pursued A‑levels. I am now currently a third‑year medical student at the University of Nottingham, and alongside my studies I’ve gained experience tutoring students in a range of subjects, helping them build confidence and improve their academic performance.

Hi. I'm Ade, and I have been tutoring successfully for over 7 years now, with over 100 students (over 3 years on GoStudent with over 40 students), Grades 7 to 12, GCSE, and A-Levels. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Mathematics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do lots of practice. I specialize in building students skill and confidence in facing and solving problems. I'm pretty good at it because I am always learning new things myself, so I never forget what it's like be a semi-beginner, and I tend to relate very well with my students experience. This helps me communicate very effectively and support them unconditionally, all the while holding them to high expectations (based on their ability). Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. As a student who completed his GCSE exams 3 years ago, I can provide tailored advice and the most up-to-date tips and tricks to help students flourish and achieve top marks. I went to a selective state-grammar school based on 11+ scores called Lawrence Sheriff School for all of my secondary school years and 6th form. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels here achieving almost all A*/A scores in every subject. Currently, I am at University studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
