Hi, my name is Vrut and I am an aspiring astrophysicist with a great interest in chemistry. I love studying and researching various concepts in the field of physics. I look forward to helping students with improving their grades with tips and tricks which personally helped me. I am very passionate about helping students understand STEMM ideas with ease using various different and unique techniques. At GCSE, I did the core subjects English, Maths and Sciences. In addition to these I also did Computer Science, Music, Frech and Geography, in which I achieved mostly grades 8's and 9's. At A-level, I did A-level Physics, Chemistry and Maths in which I achieved 3 A's. I am currently a first-year student studying Astrophysics at university of Edinburgh. I have experience in assisting and leading lessons in various scientific topics. I also have quite a lot of experience with tutoring young students and helping them understand difficult concepts with ease by explaining difficult concepts in simple terms and using various diagrams and imagery.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while making a positive, practical difference to students’ academic journeys. I recently graduated from Newcastle University with a Masters in Maths and Stats, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others with maths. Whether it’s supporting friends through GCSEs, A-Levels, or university work, or helping my younger brother prepare for his GCSEs, I love making tricky topics easier to understand. I completed my GCSEs at St Bede's Catholic High School in Ormskirk, my A-Levels at Runshaw College in Leyland, and completed my Masters in Maths and Stats at Newcastle University in which I achieved a first and was given an award for my fourth year research project. I am comfortable and experienced in GCSE maths, A-Level maths, and beyond.
