I have completed my GCSEs, A - Levels and Bachelor's degree with top grades and have experience teaching mathematics from primary to GCSE level. My approach is all about building the confidence of my pupils. I focus on exam preparation in every lesson so the student understands what to expect in the real exams as well as dedicating sessions to tackle worded problems and showing the best techniques to solve them. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Warwick, achieving a 2:1. Before university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Economics (A), and Physics (A), building a strong foundation in algebra, calculus, mechanics, and mathematical modelling. At GCSE level, I earned high grades including an 8 in Mathematics. My academic background has equipped me with a strong specialisation in quantitative analysis, applied mathematics, and statistical methods, skills that directly support my ability to teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

I'm currently a veterinary medicine student at university, slated to graduate in 2030. I have two younger brothers and have always been one of those strange children who enjoyed going to school for the learning, not just the fun. Outside of education I am a knitter, a crocheter, a badminton player, and an avid creative writer. I was involved in Scouts for two years and was part of the National Honour Society in high school, a society for students in American high schools that select members based on four pillars: academics, character, service, and leadership. I enjoy explaining things and hope to ensure that my students gain a greater appreciation of the subject matter, but I will settle for getting them through their exams if that's all they want. I attended CAJ, an international high school in Japan that following the American curriculum. I took 10 AP subjects, which are slightly narrower in scope but no less thorough in depth than A levels, and scored 5s (highest score) in all but English language, where I scored a 3 (pass mark). The AP subjects I took were Japanese, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Physics 1, Physics 2, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Comprehension, and English Literature and Composition.
