I am familiar with several exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, CIE, and many more, and I tailor my lessons to align with each board's specific requirements. A typical lesson with me involves reviewing key topics to ensure a solid understanding of the subject matter. We'll start by discussing the areas where the student feels least confident, addressing any questions or difficulties they have. I then guide them through relevant exam-style questions, focusing on how to structure their answers using marking schemes and key terms. Throughout the lesson, I offer feedback to help improve their exam technique, highlighting common mistakes and strategies for tackling tricky questions. My goal is to make sure students not only grasp the content but also feel more prepared for the types of questions they will face in their exams. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Essex (UK) with a degree in Biomedical Science (BSc), giving me a strong foundation in Life Sciences, including Biology. Prior to that, I took my Leaving Certificate in Biology, Chemistry and Physics (all higher level) in Franciscan College Gormanston, Ireland. Hello, my name is Edden Fernandez. I am 24 years old, and a Licensed Professional Teacher currently teaching English subject in a private school for three years now. I enjoy helping people learn new things, like spelling words, solving puzzles, or even teaching them songs. I feel happy and proud when I see them understand something because of what I taught them! I believe teaching is such an important profession and vocation, and I want to inspire kids to do their best. When I’m not teaching students, I have a lot of hobbies that keep me busy and happy. I love playing table tennis because it’s so exciting and keeps me active. I also enjoy writing stories, especially about fun adventures and inspiring characters. Reading novels is another favorite of mine—I love diving into new worlds and learning from the stories I read. I graduated from Innovative College of Science and Technology in 2023 with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English, earning my diploma and Latin honor. My academic journey has been deeply enriching, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills that align with the demands of modern education. Throughout my years of study, I cultivated a strong passion for teaching the English language, focusing on developing students’ communication skills and critical thinking.

I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. I have lived all over the world, love traveling and exploring and look forward to learning how we can incorporate your personal experiences and passions into your studies. I’m a 19-year-old recent sixth form graduate (2025) who studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I’m passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in their learning. I currently study Medicine abroad and enjoy supporting others to reach their academic goals. I completed my A-levels in 2025, studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, and was fortunate to gain a place to study Medicine, which I am currently pursuing abroad.
