Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.

Hey, my name is Busayo and I am currently an undergraduate student studying BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Loughborough University. I attended Hodge Hill Girls School and finished in 2018 with 11 GCSEs all over grade 5 including a Level 2 Distinction* qualification in Hospitality and Catering, Math grade 8, English Literature and Language grade 6-6 , and combined Science grade 7-7. I then attended sixth form at University of Birmingham school where I studied A-Level Math, Chemistry and Geography. I attained Grade BBC (Math - B, Geography - B, Chemistry - C). I am now currently at Loughborough University studying BSc Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying.

Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to all ages, especially primary and secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. My personal hobbies include reading and creating artwork in my free time. I look forward to helping you/your child with English and literacy skills! For secondary school I attended Carr Manor Community school, achieving GSCEs all grade 7 and above. I excelled in humanities subjects, with a grade 9 in both history and English language and a grade 8 in English literature. My academic passion carried on into my A levels which I completed at Notre Dame Catholic VI Form College. I achieved an A* in A level politics, A in A level history and a B in English literature. I have gone on to be accepted to study law at the University of Leeds, a Russell group university. I remain open to constantly improving my skills and developing new ones and therefore significantly look forward to tutoring new students, sharing my knowledge and developing my own.
