Hi! I'm Tom, 22 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.

I am a University of Nottingham accountancy student in my final year of studies. I have experience tutoring over the last 5 years across a range of subjects, including Physcology and Maths A level, Maths GCSE, and all GCSE sciences. I have worked with children with learning difficulties, and both high and low performing students to accelerate their learning. GCSE - English Literature/Language A Level - English Literature/Philosophy My name is Jyotsna and my interests are in philosophy, reading and writing, hence why I want to teach the lot! My teaching style is mostly discussion-based - almost like Socratic questioning. I believe this helps ideas and concepts stay in your mind for longer, as the student is the one that has to do the intellectual heavy lifting. I have just started the first year of my philosophy degree at the University of Durham, after having completed English Literature and Philosophy A-Level. I have tutored a GCSE English student before and have also led KS3 philosophy society, where we have discussions based on the A Level Philosophy syllabus (Utilitarianism, Kant’s deontological ethics and Aristotleian virtue ethics).

Hi, I'm Chidi, 22 and tutoring English and Music! I've always enjoyed meeting new people, and helping others out with things I'm good at, so tutoring is just the perfect role. I'd say I'm pretty relaxed, confident, but kind and understanding. I like to take it easy and honestly can't remember the last time I had a temper.
