I am an English Intervention Tutor in a UK secondary school, with a BA in English with Creative Writing. I have a National Tutoring Programme certificate and I am also TEFL qualified. I have over two years’ experience of tutoring and over two years’ experiences as a TEFL teacher. I know that the road to higher education is not easy. In fact, GCSE and A-level years were really tough for me. I know things can be overwhelming at this level and I aim to do everything I can to help students along the way. With lots of hard work, I managed to achieve A*s in both A Level and GCSE English. I also achieved best in my year in my undergraduate degree. I would love to use the skills I have learnt to help students achieve the grades they want. I will personalise the lesson to you and your particular exam specification. Hello there! My name is Rajvir and I am a former student who has studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-levels. I used to be a student who had struggled a lot at the start of Year 12 (the start of my A-levels) and found it quite difficult to catch up at first. However, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a bunch of talented people too who were willing to help me learn. Through doing so/experiencing this, I've gained an insight into what it's like to be on the receiving end as a tutee. I've then used these teaching techniques of mine to help others around me improve and motivate them into striving to do better in Maths too. I find satisfaction and joy in knowing I can help make a tedious subject seem a tad bit more bearable and can help find the "inner mathemetician" in people I support. My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students.
