These diverse experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a commitment to lifelong learning I graduated with first-class honors from Business School in the Netherlands. Following my academic achievement, I embarked on a fulfilling career journey, serving as a teacher assistant and tutor for over 5 years in London. During this time, I gained invaluable experience in educational support, curriculum development, and student mentorship, contributing to the academic success and personal growth of many students.

I have experience teaching in both primary and secondary schools. I feel I am able to inspire and encourage children of all levels to reach their full potential. 11 plus( mainly English), private school exam preparation, essay writing, ESL are among tuition experiences I have had in the past. For young students I plan my lesson with lots of games. They enjoy learning via playing. Whereas for adult students I plan tailored lessons according their targets, interests and level. I am positive, encouraging, approachable person. Reading, running and traveling are among long list of my hobbies and interests. I am patient and always listen to my students needs and constantly monitor their progress. Always try to plan my lessons as interactive and enjoyable as I can. I have just completed my MSc in Big Data and Financial Analysis, having received a distinction. Before this I studied Human Geography at Swansea University, and became the treasurer for the society! I chose both these courses as I like to know why the world functions as it does, and what better way to understand this than the political, economic and social geographies; as well as the business/finance world! In my spare time I enjoy running, football and rugby; I also love to ski! Hello! I'm Catherine. My favourite book as a child was 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,' and I've been in love with the written word ever since. With my degree in English Literature and Creative Writing under my belt, I now use my writing skills to run a successful copywriting and marketing business, but I also spend a lot of time training my clients and running evening classes for local women in business. I found that teaching and helping others brought me a lot of joy and fulfillment, which is why I decided to become a GoStudent Tutor. I take a supportive, friendly and encouraging approach when it comes to teaching, and enjoy thinking outside the box when required to keep lessons fun and engaging. When I'm not working or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my partner and 7-year-old stepson, walking my dog in the countryside, reading, and crafting.

I am able to tutor History at GCSE, and A-Level I am also an experienced A-level Government and Politics on the Edexcel exam board. I have experience with tutoring AQA for History A-level and both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE level for History. I also have experience working with students surrounding academic and exam stress and anxiety, I have also done extensive public speaking coaching for both competitions and increasing confidence. In my spare time, I'm a massive theatre fan and I love going to see musicals and theatre shows with my friends I also love taking time to explore my university city and getting to know a different part of the country. I am a fully qualified History Teacher after completing my Secondary History Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Sheffield Hallam University two years ago.
