Hi! I am a first-year undergraduate student studying Applied Medical Sciences at UCL. I studied the IB curriculum at a boarding school, as previously I lived in Canada for 5 years. Living in Canada I played a lot of winter sports and due to this, I love skiing and figure skating. However, since I am living in London I now play volleyball and tennis professionally. I am half Japanese (my mom's side) and half French (my dad's side), therefore, I speak English, Japanese and French fluently but I was born in London. I have lived not only in Canada and the UK but Japan as well! I love all things Math and Biology and I cannot wait to get to know you!

Hi, Im Lia! I'm a second year psychology student at Loughborough University. Studying psychology, I am constantly learning about people and the way that our brains work both individually and together. This includes studying the most effective ways to learn and recall information. My AS and A-Levels consisted of 3 core subjects, so I have an array of expertise when it comes to exam technique. With my goal of becoming a secondary teacher, I am really looking forward to bringing my passion and enthusiasm to the virtual classroom. I already have a few years experience tutoring secondary students, so have discovered firsthand the best ways to engage and assist my students in whatever way they need. I am a strong believer in the importance of practicing exam questions and their structure when it comes to revision. I am a University of York Computer Science student originally from Australia but now living in York! I enjoy working with young people and have worked in a wide variety of primary and high schools across the Leeds area. I enjoy Mathematics and Computer Programming. I am comfortable in tutoring Mathematics and English and engineering modules from basic up to undergraduate level. I have tutored kids with special needs and thus I have experience with varying teaching modules to suit diverse needs. I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Sheffield. My degree in English has given me lots of knowledge, insight and passion for the subject. I am an experienced and reliable tutor, and in the past have tutored GCSE students who have gone on to achieve amazing grade 9s. GCSE: English Literature + English Language (Such as Shakespeare, Poetry, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, An Inspector Calls) A-Level: English Literature I will work with the student towards their goals and help them become more confident and advanced in their written and verbal ideas. I have a degree in English Literature from a Russell Group University. I have achieved high grades in English Literature at degree, GCSE and A-Level, and it was always my favourite subject. I am very passionate about different texts and much of the content I learnt myself when I did my exams back in 2017.
