Hi I'm Eve, I'm currently in my second year of studying Biology at university and I love it (the plant side will always be my favourite)! I love learning new things and sharing my knowledge with others. Aside from biology, I am a competitive track and field athlete. I find my determination gained from this sport is reflected in my lessons because I always want to deliver them to the best of my ability.

I am a friendly, patient and determined tutor. I recently finished my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I believe that this experience puts me in a great position to share my knowledge to help other students because I know what is needed in order to excel in these subjects. I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage. I have previous experience teaching other students from my school A-level maths concepts which they struggled with. While preparing for A-levels I created some resources that enabled me to achieve 4 A*s in the subjects above and have helped other students. I would be happy to share these and other strategies I used in preparation for exams. Outside of academics, I am a relaxed person and enjoy a wide range of sports, my favourites being football and basketball. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family. Hello, my name is Ellen Davies. I am in my third year studying a Physics MSc at the University of Nottingham and am currently on course for a First. Hi, my name is Rebecca, I am a second year medical student in UL. I previously studied science in UCD, where I graduated with a major in physiology, minor in Japanese, genetics and microbiology. I'm from Wexford and love going home every few weeks to see my family and my dogs. I can teach science to Junior Certificate level and biology to Leaving Certificate level, both at higher and ordinary level. I have some experience giving grinds to both JC and LC biology also.
