Hello! My name is Donna. I have lived and worked in different parts of England, Wales and Scotland at various times. I teach English and Humanities subjects remotely, and have done so for over 5 years; although I have worked within an educational environment for more than 15 years. I enjoy travelling and have had the opportunity to visit many wonderful places throughout Egypt, Europe, and America. I am a qualified Rescue Scuba diver and have dived in some great areas. Wherever I go, I always try visit local historical sites and see local cultures I hold a Bachelors Degree in teaching English Education from the United States Institute of Language and Clerical Studies. I graduated Cum Laude (Distinction/Honours) with Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as my Major, and Primary School Education as my Minor. Having worked within an educational environment for more than 15 years, I have taught English and Humanities subjects remotely for over 5 years. Throughout all of this time it has been privilege to help students progress, and obtain improved grades. I have supported KS1 to KS4 students in Humanities subjects; such as Geography and History, as well as Science, and English. Along with this I have assisted and guided students while they prepare for their Functional Skills assessments and exams. Further, I also support ESL students with exam preparation. In the classroom, my goal has always been to inspire students so that they can gain confidence in their subjects. My classes are always fun and engaging. Students learn at different paces and in different ways so often need time to understand what they are learning. Therefore, I patiently use a variety of teaching materials to consolidate concepts, ideas and dates. These are then reinforced through in-class practice. Mini class quizzes identify areas for additional support, and exam preparation help students feel comfortable and better prepared when it comes to taking their all important exams and tests.

I'm a 5th year medical student based in London, with thirteen years of tutoring experience. I've trained students for 11+ entrance exams, scholarship exams to private schools such as Colfe's, Blackheath High and City of London and worked professionally as a GCSE / A-level teacher in schools across England. I'm incredibly passionate about teaching and have been teaching since I was 10! I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. During my A Level studies, I obtained 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. It would be a pleasure to pass on both my knowledge and work ethic to my students, enabling them to achieve their full potential. During my GCSE studies at a grammar school, I obtained Grade 9 in 8 subjects, including Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I also obtained Grade 8 in 3 subjects, including English Literature and Language. I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges, I’m always excited to take on new opportunities and share my knowledge with others. I attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels. After that, I pursued my passion for science by studying biochemistry at the University of Warwick. I dedicated myself to my studies and graduated with an upper second-class degree.
