Hello, I'm Fayisha, I am currently a final year Biomedical Science student and have more than 2 years of teaching experience, I aim to make learning enjoyable and stress-free by breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. My approach is patient and encouraging, aiming to help students feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their best and more while instilling confidence in their ways of thinking and problem-solving using personalised teaching methods, which I believe will help get the most potential out of the student I have completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and am now studying Biomedical Science, specialising in biology, chemistry and a certain level of maths as well. As a co-founder of our Sixth Form's first Medical Society, I guided my peers through everything needed to go through university applications, interviews for not only medical school but also related courses. I have continued this by mentoring and teaching first-year university students, helping them adjust to coursework and academic challenges, and personalising teaching methods for each student. My support has led to positive results, with the students excelling in assignments and finding my guidance invaluable.

I have always been passionate about teaching Chemistry, Psychology, and Biology, and I have been tutoring these subjects for over a year. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students grow in confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment for subjects they once found challenging. To see young people’s interest grow as they begin to learn sciences for the first time and to help them build a better understanding of this is very rewarding. My goal is to continue helping students improve their grades by making learning engaging and accessible. I have achieved 10 GCSEs, in which I received: a Grade 9 in Chemistry, a Grade 8 in Physics, Food Preparation and Nutrition and Geography. 3 Grade 7’s in Biology, Maths and German and 3 Grade 6’s in English Literature, English Language and Religion, Psychology and Ethics. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A in Chemistry, an A in Psychology, and an A in Biology. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bristol.

Hi! My name is Yazmin, and I have been tutoring for 3 years for a range of different ages! I enjoy true crime, crocheting, and listening to Taylor Swift! I studied English Literature, Psychology, French, and completed an EPQ at A-Level, and am at first year at uni:) I am studying psychology at the University of York, in my first year after having just completed A-Levels. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth
