Alongside this I worked as a vaccinator for the NHS. I am a passionate sportsmen, specifically surfing, golfing and tennis. Studied at Oundle School from the age of 13 through to the end of A-levels, indulging in sports and the arts. I've used tutors throughout my time at school, to gain a deeper understanding of the subjects in which I was passionate. This gives me a strong basis to tutor and I know the varying current curriculums very well. Throughout my gap year I volunteered in a private wildlife reserve in Southern Namibia, where I learnt many skills and developed as a person. I hope to be able to help out in any way that I can!

Hi! My name is Dominika and I am 22. I have just finished degree in Medical Genetics (on track to getting a First Class) and will be starting my PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Glasgow this coming October! Throughout the years as a student, I have been helping my peers in understanding complex problems in Biology and Maths and have always been told that I am a natural teacher, which encouraged me to try and become a tutor. I am patient, creative, and interested in the process of learning, having completed the 'Improving your Study Techniques' course from the University of Groningen. In whatever way you like to study, I can suggest new techniques and find resources you will hopefully find useful. Let's meet and figure out the way to help you achieve your goals – I have no doubt that you will be able to meet them given the right learning environment and resources! Thank you and I am looking forward to meeting you! Hi there, I'm Mustafa! And I'm a 1st year medical student at the University of Manchester who tutors alongside studies in the evenings. I have been tutoring for the past year and a half, with over 200+ hours of experience on various online platforms for Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Incidentally, I took all these 4 subjects for A Level and received A*AAA to showcase my passion for the STEM subjects alongside with the ambition of earning a coveted place in medical school. These subjects have now given me a solid, diverse foundation to teach from which now project into my students whether GCSE or A Level. Teaching is a beautiful art which encapsulates the ability to not only impart your knowledge to helping others progress, but also the opportunity to simultaneously inspire their confidence and self-esteem off the field, since often your confidence from understanding concepts will then project into other areas of your life which can prove beneficial for maintaining a healthy portfolio. Learning from a textbook can only do wonders to a certain limit, but the art to teaching entails a variety of concepts that hold the opportunity to boost morale and confidence in the student's abilities. A concept which is equally important than the contextual learning itself since the drive and hunger to study harder derives from the faith you show in yourself and the support around you. My teaching philosophy is to aim to bring a balance of enthusiasm and meticulousness when it comes to teaching. The teacher-student relationship is pivotal to helping a student progress, hence I emphasise the importance on getting to know my student through their hobbies and interests firstly and relate that to their learning. I intend to expand on their knowledge by developing their concepts through a mixture active engagement where I will annotate concepts on the screen and then ask the student to annotate as well actively to keep the lesson flowing smoothly. We will go through the theory and the content, before then consolidating our learning on exam questions in the latter sect of the lesson which will give a realistic challenge of what you may be examined on. I attended Thornden School for my GCSEs where I achieved 98887776 in my exams. Then I went to Bishop Wordsworth's Grammar School for my A Levels where I achieved A*AAA in Chemistry, Maths, Physics and Biology respectively. I am now in the process of undergoing my MBBS Medicine degree at the University of Manchester Medical School. Currently in Year 1.

I am an English student at the University of Nottingham, currently working on my degree, which I intend to further with a Masters degree. I came from Essex, studying for 7 years at KEGS, a top-tier grammar school, where I attained 14 GCSE's, and 3 A-levels. I spent much of that time tutoring and teaching students below me, as I have a great passion for teaching.

Levels & Subjects you teach Lower Level: Maths GCSE: History and Maths Exam Board Experience: I have previous experience with Edexcel. For History I covered topics of Medicine Through Time, The American West, First and Second World Wars, Henry VIII, Russian Revolution and Weimar & Nazi Germany which all span across exam boards. At University Level I studied the period 1555 - present with a particular interest in the development of Global Health in that period. Languages: English (fluent) SEND: no previous experience Prefered Student Age: 14-16 (GCSE ) for History and Primary/GCSE for Maths Hello, my name is Alex and I am currently working part-time as a Museum Engagment Officer for the University of Dundee. I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2021 with a first-class degree in Social Anthropology. I also took modules in History and Art History in the first two years of my course. My passion for History led me to an MSc in Digital Heritage at the University of York and to my current job at the University of Dundee Museums Service. I also have over 7 years of experience volunteering at Heritage sites and Museums. I've done various roles in archives, social media, events and exhibitions as well as working as a tourguide at a castle with a 1500 year history. I think this gives me a lot of skills in communicating heritage alongside the academic skills that would make me a good tutor for History. My hobbies are art and design. I love to paint and draw but have been doing a lot of digital illustrations recently. I'm also really interested in historical fashion. I've done costuming for theatre shows and I like to sew from vintage patterns or make history inspired items. I have also been working on designing historical dress-up doll online games which is an extension of my MSc dissertation research. Additionally I love to bake and enjoy yoga and walking. I would like to take a students hobby/interest and use that as an entry point into the period to capture their imagination. Coming from a museum background I would also like to incorporate objects from collections as a starting point for understanding the past and a way to develop the source analysis skills needed in exams.

Hello! My name is Nikiya and I am a King's College London student studying Biochemistry. I am genuinely a huge science nerd and love to know how all the little systems in our body build to make such complex structures that build up to make us. I've always been big on people watching and it's just so interesting to think that we are all just an arrangement of atoms so capable of such fantastic things. A few random Things. My favourite book of all time is the Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, I have read it 4 Times now I believe. My favourite shows are Avatar the Last air bender. I mainly would like to teach A-level Biology and or Chemistry (AQA) as I am very confident in these two subjects. EPQ ( extended project qualification)
