My lessons are fully immersive and conducted entirely in English, designed to be both structured and engaging so students can learn effectively while enjoying the process. My teaching approach is shaped by a diverse background. I’m certified in TESOL and TEFL, and I also hold a Certificate in Professional Development with a focus on evidence-based teaching methods. Lower Level: Maths and English GCSE: Economics A-Level: Economics Higher Level: Excel, and Powerpoint Hello, I am Frances! Do you need a teacher who is patient, thorough, and enthusiastic about helping you improve your skills? As someone who has been and still is a student, I understand the struggles that students face with learning. My aim is to help students tackle their learning challenges, unlock their potential, and put them on a path that fosters continual growth. I am particular about understanding the individual needs of my students by using effective communication and problem-solving skills to tailor my teaching to address these needs. I have a degree in Economics and Statistics and that sparked my interest in data analysis. I enjoy listening to soft rock music, going out to try new food, salsa dancing, going to the beach, watching animations, and conversing about superheroes. While I am happy to discuss tutoring around these interests, I am also open to discussing your interests.

What I teach: - Spanish (GCSE, Nationals, and A-Levels preparation) - Spanish as a second language for adults *Accredited DELE examiner (official Spanish as a second language test) *I speak English proficiently and Spanish as a native speaker. My strong points as a tutor: - Tailoring and framing content so that the learner can approach their goals more dynamically or in a way which is relatable to them. - Training the student to know how to learn more efficiently in order not to lose motivation. - Setting goals and milestones to track progress and see visible results. When I'm not teaching, researching, or improving my online business, you'll find me reading, walking, learning to play the guitar, playing a videogame, or secretly complaning about bad teaching. *Spanish postgraduate teaching qualifications. *Degree in English linguistics (Univ. of Seville and Univ. of Aberdeen) *Master's Degree in linguistic research (Univ. of Seville). *Accredited DELE examiner (Spanish as a second language test). *Certified Spanish online teacher (Cervantes Institute)

Hello! I am a doctoral student in English Literature at the University of Lincoln, having completed my BA at Lincoln in 2019, and having completed my teacher training (PGCE) at the University of Hull. After this, I then began tutoring whilst I completed my MA in English Literature, graduating in 2022. I write both fiction and non-fiction work in my private life, being published online and in print, and I hope that I can share my love of the subject with you. I am also published in media studies and literary theory by a variety of academic publishers, most recently Palgrave, and have several more chapters due for publication in the next 18 months. I teach English, both literature and language, to GCSE and A Level students - primarily within the AQA specification, although I also have familiarity with Edexcel. Though less common, I am also comfortable tutoring undergraduate English Literature. My tutoring is therefore best suited to students aged 11 and up. For those students looking towards their exams, or just wanting to get ahead of the curve, you are in the right place. The best tutors help students achieve their goals and embrace the subject, rather than sticking to a pre-arranged script, so I hope that we can work out the best path for your learning together. Having tutored for hundreds of hours, with multiple students having achieved jumps of multiple grades in their exams, I am confident that I can help you reach your best and stay there. Looking forward to hearing from you! I went to secondary school in a small town without a huge track record of academic success, and so I know the kind of circumstances that people might be dealing with in pursuing their education at that level. After completing secondary school, I finished A Levels in English Literature, French, and Physics, before completing my BA in English in 2019. I then completed a PGCE in teaching English at the University of Hull in 2021, and completed an MA in English Literature at the University of Lincoln in 2022. I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Lincoln, studying depictions of psychosis in Gothic Literature.

Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours. My curriculum was English, Arts, and Humanities-centered so I had subjects such as Media and Information Literacy, Research Writing, Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction, Contemporary Art, etc. I used to write for a travel blog and was the assistant to the managerial editor of a newspaper company so I proofread, edited, and wrote articles a lot.

Hi there! I'm a graduate in science and I am hoping to become a doctor in the future! Right now, I'm learning a lot by working in a care home and schools across North East. I enjoy tutoring students in science at a local center. I believe in making science fun and easy, because there is really nothing you can't understand when explained properly. I migrated during my GCSEs so did not complete the full qualifications, however did sit the exams unofficially to pass Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics to enter A levels, where I completed Biology Chemistry and Physics. I have completed my studies, and hope to pursue medicine in the near future.

Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). I love to travel, read, eat and try new activities! I like learning about different cultures and the history behind the cultures. I took up running during the pandemic and my aim is to one day run a half marathon and once that's achieved, run a full marathon. I love teaching and am very passionate about it. I did GCSEs in Maths, English, Science, RS, Drama, ICT, Business Studies, and got additional qualifications such as Critical Thinking AS Level when I was in secondary school. My A Levels were in English Literature and Language, Accounting and Economics. My Bachelor's degree was in Accounting and Finance and I proceeded to get a PGCE after a year of doing a Maths Enhancement Course to qualify to teach Secondary Maths.

Lower level: Primary Maths, English and Science GCSE level: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English A-level: Biology Exam board experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, 11+ Language: English Preferred student age group: Primary, GCSEs and A-level About me: I’m currently studying Bioveterinary Science BSc (Hons) at the University of Chester, with the goal of one day becoming a Veterinary Surgeon. As you might have guessed, I’m passionate about animals—I have three dogs at home who I absolutely adore! One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. I’ve also climbed the UK’s Three Peaks before turning 18, which was both physically and mentally challenging, but incredibly fulfilling. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education. This experience fuels my motivation to support students in reaching their full potential. I believe that building confidence and unlocking learning potential are key to lifelong success. I have worked with students facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, and extreme shyness. I’m especially proud of the progress many of them have made—growing in confidence and communication, not just in school, but in their personal lives too. Seeing students thrive and express themselves freely is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and I’m committed to helping others take those same positive steps toward a brighter future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds. I have also completed four online courses, they are in Animal behaviour and welfare, Ecology and ecosystems, Edivet: basics of veterinary Surgery, Canine communication. I am currently studying at the University of Chester doing a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioveterinary Science.
