My name is Qasim and I want to teach you as I am a motivated teacher wanting to push students' grades higher than what they are currently. I believe I am a fun and immersive teacher who can help you to enjoy the content that you are struggling on. Having already tutored multiple students before, I believe I can be someone who can push you to do your best and achieve the grades you didn’t think you could have. I completed my education at Queen Mary University of London, completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering achieving a First Class Honors. I am now working as an aerospace engineer at GE in Wales, working in multiple different sections of the business.

GCSE: Math (lower level) Exam Board Experience: Edexel GCSE Math Experience with: KS1/KS2 Languages: English, Afrikaans Experience with Disabilities/ Special Needs: Parent with 2 Special Needs children. (Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Speech Disorder). Preferred student age group: Any / Primary School / Adult EDUCATION High School (South Africa) IMM Marketing Diploma (South Africa) (UK Level 4) Edexel GCSE Math (Higher Tier) ABOUT ME Hello! I am dual British and South African. I was born and raised in South Africa and came to the UK in 2014. I am a full time mum to two special needs children. I studied Marketing with combined distance/ face to face learning while working full time. Before children, I worked in various administrative and sales jobs, in Call Centre, Imports, Advertising and Financial Planning. For fun and exercise I enjoy gardening, swimming and Pilates. When I was younger, I enjoyed Horse Riding and competed in Show Jumping and Cross Country at Pony Club level. I love animals and have a menagerie of pets with a small dog, a cat, 7 hens and an aquarium. My eldest son and are keen Formula 1 fans. He supports Max Verstappen and I support Lewis Hamilton. Recently I signed up for Edexel GCSE Math and found that, actually, I enjoyed Math! My experience of Math at High School was not great – the teacher taught in a wrote-style and was so boring, I had the same teacher for all 5 years of High School, the classes were large. I hope to share my enjoyment of Math so that you, too, can enjoy Math.

My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. I believe everyone deserves a chance to reach there goals and do their best, and I hope to help you get there :) I attended NHGS, a grammar school in the North of England. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. I am currently studying Dance at the university of Lincoln after taking a gap year to work hard and earn money.

I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. I am passionate about making learning more fun for my pupils because that way they'll learn better. I am very good at explaining difficult concepts in different ways so that all students understand. I did A Levels in Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA), Economics (Edexcel). I am in my third year of Biotechnology BSc (Hons) and have studied a variety of modules during my studies that equiped me with relevant knowledge that will allow me to stretch my students who want to know more about science. I help my students reach their maximum potential by focusing on building the skills that they will need to succeed in exams. Exam skills are often the downfall of even very intelligent students. Exams are stressful and unnatural enviroments, but by practicing all types of questions together, my students have gone on to achieve grades that they would not have thought possible.
