My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods. I look forward to helping all those who wish to practice and improve their English vocabulary, fluency and grammar with whatever else i can do to make those who wish to learn English feel more comfortable and confident. I look forward to our future learning experiences together. As i mentioned earlier i have studied in four different schools and one college in England. My grades were as follows ; English - C (Pass) Science - B (Merit) Art Graphics - C (Pass) WoodWork - C (Pass) Grades at College ; Diploma in Mathematics Functional Skills - Pass Diploma in Multi-Skills for the Construction Industry - Pass Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery - Pass I also very much enjoy learning instruments. I do not have any official grades yet it is a passion of mine and an important part of my life. I am One of Jehovahs Witnesses and for many years i have taught lessons to people of the public about the Bible voluntarily . I have been to a one week course in how to teach the Bible Effectively. I have also been on a two week course in learning Tagalog as for a short period in my life i and my family was contacting and teaching those from the Philippines in my hometown in England. As you can see my lives training has not been focused on English teaching. Yet now it is and consequently i am trying my best to be the best teacher i can be. Hi, I’m Archie Hall, an energetic and passionate English and Science teacher. I enjoy helping students learn in ways that are simple, clear, and fun. I believe that learning should not feel boring or stressful. Instead, it should be exciting and meaningful. My goal is to help students build confidence while they improve their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the world around them. In my English classes, I help students explore literature, grammar, and language through creative activities. I use group discussions, role-playing, storytelling, and multimedia projects to make lessons more interesting. I also sing a song every morning to start my day with positive energy. This daily habit helps me stay motivated and ready to give my best to my students. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Finance. My studies helped me develop strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills. I also gained knowledge in communication and management, which are very helpful in teaching. I have been teaching for one and a half years now, handling both English and Science subjects. During this time, I have learned how to plan effective lessons, manage a classroom confidently, and adjust my teaching style to meet different learning needs. Last year I completed the International Baccalaureate, and have also taken GCSEs and IGCSEs. I studied all three of my subjects at IB level as well as at GCSE/IGCSE. I have also had tutoring experience from primary-GCSE level, with a preference for GCSE tutoring. I have also done courses on Autism, ADHD, and mental health and have taught people with SEND. I am also indifferent to the age of my students but would prefer to teach at GCSE level. Personally, I would describe myself as open-minded, kind, and caring and would also say that I am a nerd!
