Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. Over my years in full time education I have acquired various experience which I would love to pass on to any student trying to enjoy and succeed in their academic journey. Hello! I'm Catherine. My favourite book as a child was 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,' and I've been in love with the written word ever since. With my degree in English Literature and Creative Writing under my belt, I now use my writing skills to run a successful copywriting and marketing business, but I also spend a lot of time training my clients and running evening classes for local women in business. I found that teaching and helping others brought me a lot of joy and fulfillment, which is why I decided to become a GoStudent Tutor. I take a supportive, friendly and encouraging approach when it comes to teaching, and enjoy thinking outside the box when required to keep lessons fun and engaging. Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too.
