Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education. I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students.
