My name is Montaha. I am a regular tutor who has taught over 300 lessons online with GoStudent for over four years! I am proud to say that I have extensive experience tutoring multiple GCSE students across the UK in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and English. My teaching approach is informal yet effective. I prefer to help students learn using a method that works best for them, whether by reviewing exam questions, explaining concepts with diagrams, or dissecting lesson material to make it much more straightforward. I believe understanding what the exam board is asking for and how the mark scheme works is critical to achieving high grades at GCSE level. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to Ireland when I was 12 years old. I love Maths and English, but I decided to study Science in college. I am an English student at the University of Nottingham, currently working on my degree. I came from Essex, studying for 7 years at KEGS, a top-tier grammar school, where I attained 14 GCSE's, and 3 A-levels. I spent much of that time tutoring and teaching students below me, as I have a great passion for teaching. I completed my secondary education at a grammar school in Chelmsford, where I achieved strong academic results across a broad curriculum, including 14 GCSEs. Notably, I was awarded grade 9s in both English Literature and English Language. I then progressed to A-level study, securing an A in English alongside two additional subjects.
