Hi, I'm Ka. Originally, I come from Macau, China. I have lived abroad in the Netherlands, the UK, and Spain. Throughout my adventures, I have also embraced the role of a teacher for over 5 years. It has been a rewarding and fulfilling journey, contributing to the growth and education of others. These diverse experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a commitment to lifelong learning I graduated with first-class honors from Business School in the Netherlands. Following my academic achievement, I embarked on a fulfilling career journey, serving as a teacher assistant and tutor for over 5 years in London. As you might have guessed, I’m passionate about animals—I have three dogs at home who I absolutely adore! One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. I’ve also climbed the UK’s Three Peaks before turning 18, which was both physically and mentally challenging, but incredibly fulfilling. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education. This experience fuels my motivation to support students in reaching their full potential. I believe that building confidence and unlocking learning potential are key to lifelong success. I have worked with students facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, and extreme shyness. I’m especially proud of the progress many of them have made—growing in confidence and communication, not just in school, but in their personal lives too. Seeing students thrive and express themselves freely is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and I’m committed to helping others take those same positive steps toward a brighter future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds. I have also completed four online courses, they are in Animal behaviour and welfare, Ecology and ecosystems, Edivet: basics of veterinary Surgery, Canine communication. I am currently studying at the University of Chester doing a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioveterinary Science.

Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading, MMA and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. Hi there! I'm Annie, university student currently completing my final year of Primary Education with QTS, with a huge passion for teaching.
