I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. Alongside my own studying, I volunteer at an asylum-seeker charity 4 hours a week teaching adults basic skills such as digital literacy, English communication and life skills. Hi, I'm Savannah Stanislaus, I'm 23 years old and I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford with a BA in German. Over the years, I've tutored a variety of subjects in both individual and group settings, including English at GCSE and A Level, as well as a foreign language, German as a foreign language and A level, Debating and Philosophy A level. Hi there! My name is Kevin and I am an English and Irish teacher who recently moved to London to pursue an MA in Theatre Directing. I have been teaching several students both subjects over the past 2 years to great success. I have experience teaching English and Irish to all levels, History to GCSE standard and Performing Arts up to third level. I love seeing students find a passion for a subject they have written off as being too difficult or obscure. I am approachable, friendly and love the subjects I teach. I usually get students to teach the subjects to me to see if they truly understand what we have covered. I am also a big nerd with a love for all things fantasy, literature and animation! Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too.
