I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. Hi, I’m Cherry Mae Quijano, a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for my students. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I am an uni student who knows the current exam boards very well also someone who strives to achieve the best for myself and others. I started to teach Spanish 3 years ago and my students have excelled in their grades which I take great pride in. I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. I am passionate about making learning more fun for my pupils because that way they'll learn better. I am very good at explaining difficult concepts in different ways so that all students understand. I’m a Geography student at the London School of Economics. When I’m not doing university work, I enjoy drawing, painting, and reading books. I love watching films, and ‘Coraline’ is a particular favourite of mine. Music is another passion of mine—I’m a big fan of Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, and Blur.
