As a tutor, I've always felt driven to go above and beyond the curriculum's standards to make sure the student thoroughly understands the material. In order to assist the students, I want to first earn their trust by showing them that I have their best interests at heart. I then want to work really hard with them, urge them to give their all, and ensure that they remain motivated throughout. In my classes, I make sure that the lesson is first clearly explained to the students, beginning with the basics and making sure they understand it. From there, I build on that knowledge but most importantly, a foundation should be built. Any kid I have taught has experienced a significant increase in their grades from the beginning of the year to the end.
