Hello! My name is Stephanie Mazambi and I’m in my second year at King’s College London studying Medicine. I have always been passionate about teaching Chemistry, Psychology, and Biology, and I have been tutoring these subjects for over a year. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students grow in confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment for subjects they once found challenging. To see young people’s interest grow as they begin to learn sciences for the first time and to help them build a better understanding of this is very rewarding. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A in Chemistry, an A in Psychology, and an A in Biology.

I am a 19 year old Aerospace Engineering student currently in Queens university having a passion to teach maths, computer science and physics and make students understand and view problems in a better way. As a Chemical Engineering student, my academic journey is rooted in the fundamentals of sciences and mathematics. I developed a great foundation in sciences by studying double science, mathematics and other subjects for GCSEs and biology, chemistry and mathematics for A-levels. This lead to paving the path for my pursuit in higher education. During my A-levels, I loved sciences more and I always found it intriguing. I delved into biological intricacies and developed a deep understanding of molecular biology, human biology and ecology. I still utilize these lesson in my chosen course by understanding the interactions between biology and biochemical processes and bio-processes in chemical engineering. There are also other concepts I still learn and advance my knowledge in, such as chemical reactions and thermodynamics among others. This means I am equipped with essential chemical principles. I utilize mathematical concepts to solve problems in my chosen field. I have knowledge in calculus (differentiation and integration are necessary in mathematical modelling and reactor design in chemical engineering), trigonometry, compound shapes, Pythagoras Theorem, angles, algebra and other complex equations. I also have some knowledge in statistics, though it is not my strong point but I will be able to help.
